Let me show how to set up this adorable fall beverage cart I created! First, set out a few fall decorations and a basket full of mugs!

My sweet treat of choice is a yummy pumpkin spice cupcake with a homemade cream cheese frosting. Pumpkin spice cupcakes topped with a cream cheese frosting is a perfect complement to a Pumpkin Spice Caffè Latte. Let me show you how to make them!
As a busy mom, I always make cupcakes the semi-homemade way by using a box of cake mix. I used a spice cake mix that included a box of pudding already in the mix! I need to take short cuts when I can, and honestly, I love boxed cake mix! Next, add a half of a can of pumpkin to the cake mix and follow the rest of the box instructions! I only used half of the can for my cupcakes for that subtle pumpkin flavor.
After baking let your cupcakes cool.
I love to top my semi-homemade cupcakes with a delicious homemade frosting! Today, I am sharing my homemade cream cheese frosting recipe.
Here is the Recipe!
- 1 - 8 oz. package of room temperature cream cheese
- ¼ cup of room temperature butter
- 1½ teaspoons of vanilla
- 3 - cups of powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ) In a large bowl beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
- ) Stir in vanilla
- ) Stir in powdered sugar. Add in more powdered sugar if needed for the right consistency.
- ) Spread or pipe frosting on the cooled cupcakes.
- ) Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon
I love to use a piping bag when putting on my icing! It makes the cupcakes look so beautiful and piping icing could not be easier! I promise!
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the top!
